Transforming Ideas into Reality: Patrick Marquet's Entrepreneurial Journey

In 1980, I invested all my savings in a HP 41C, and since then, I have been programming non-stop. I delved into mathematics to explore the architecture of these machines, while aiming to understand their limitations in handling real-world data using tools such as numerical analysis and statistics. This led me to establish a company specializing in data processing and statistics, in collaboration with a statistician friend. As a manager, I gained the trust of those I worked with, never failing to meet their expectations, even during challenging times.

Driven by a desire to understand the behavioral and architectural aspects of organizations employing professionals like myself, I immersed myself in project management best practices such as PMBOK, PRINCE, ITIL, COBIT, as well as enterprise architecture modeling methodologies like TOGAF, DODAF, ZACHMAN, IAF, and OMG recommendations.

In 2010, I had the opportunity to lead a Research and Development department at Sogeti, a subsidiary of Capgemini. For 11 years, I explored the fundamental mechanisms of project management, IT architecture modeling, logical infrastructures, and process automation, focusing on areas such as Testing, Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence. Applications resulting from this research continue to be used by Capgemini's clients.

Intrigued by the C-K (Concept-Knowledge) theory presented in the book available in french "Innovation Processes - Innovative Design and Business Growth" by Hatchuel, Le Masson, and Weil, I transformed my department into a Research, Innovation, and Development center, successfully implementing this theory.

In 2021, I made the decision to leave Capgemini and establish Monadis. Since then, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Julie Guégan on the digitization of her concept of Global Collaboration, opening up exciting new possibilities for the future.

Best regards,
Patrick Marquet,
